The 2015 LATCH Manual—RED is the new orange!

2015 LM at Bindery   The 9th edition of the LATCH Manual provides important guidance for proper use of the LATCH system. It is an essential resource for CPS technicians working with caregivers.

This edition includes major changes, including manufacturer instructions for use of lower anchors and tethers of some CR products and vehicles.

The manual supports the NHTSA promotion of LATCH and its long-term goals for CR use.

• Participation by all major vehicle and CR manufacturers, including brand- and model-specific information.  This edition has more helpful details than ever before—some available from no other source.

• Updated vehicle listings, including the addition of recent model year vehicles and clarified and expanded usage notes.

•  Vastly revised anchor weight limits for many vehicle brands.  In particular, the many revised tether anchor limits in this edition should be referenced by all CPSTs who provide this vital information to caregivers.

•  The child restraint manufacturer appendix is more robust than ever, including helpful information for navigating the various label changes for the new LA attachment weight limit requirements.
