The NSC believes…passengers, especially children, are safest in modes of transportation when they are properly restrained. Proper multi-modal restraint for passengers of all ages, sizes and abilities is required for the safest ride and ensuring proper use of child restraint device/s (CRD) and/or seat belts can prevent or mitigate child passenger injuries and deaths in crashes.
